Close of proprietorship firm means to come all process and function of business to an end. Firm closure is taken as one which may have occurred due to proprietor disputes or also because of reasons other than proprietor disputes such as financial stringency, shortage, crisis and many more. There is a procedure to follow before the closure of firm prescribe by the Act.

Country/Foreign Trademark Registration
One can register the trademark through the concern body prescribe by the law i.e. department of industry (DOI), in Nepal. In the context of Nepal, the process of registering a trademark takes about 12-15 months with validity for 7 years from the date of certificate issue. It is possible to register a foreign trademark in Nepal too after registration of trademark in its home country
Ownership transfer of Trademark:-
Though it is an intellectual property it can be transfer from one person to another person. One trademark can be transfer to another person only if it having same nature of business.
Renew of Foreign/country Trademark
In order to keep trademark protection in place it must be renewed every 7 years from its registration date in Nepal. If the trademark is not renew at the time prescribed by the law no more protection can get by the law.
